Two things are worth noting about the Lions' inactives list. For starters, running back Kevin Smith is absent from it. He is going to start for the Lions, which is great news. Also worth noting is that defensive tackle Nick Fairley is absent from the list of inactives as well. This means that he is healthy enough to play, which is also great news. Having Fairley and Ndamukong Suh back is a big boost for the defensive line.
For Oakland, guys like McFadden and Ford are unsurprisingly out. Denarius Moore is active, though.
