Ok now that we have officially locked up the playoff spot (seeding is meh, I'd like that sexy 5th seed over the ominous 6th seed, but hey, WE'RE IN!!!!!) I feel as fans, it's important for us to gauge where we are going, and give an honest input to our future.

I love where we are headed, our franchise, our team, from Schwartz to Linehan, Gunther to Stafford, Stafford to The offense, defense and everything in between, ESPECIALLY ol' reliable. Now I know we are new to this "winning" thing, I get it, but it seems for the most part, that when games are on the line our guys step up. I'd say that statement is about 90% accurate, ya there were a couple games that can go either way, but Stafford knows crunch time, and he knows what he has to do and can carry the burden of the team on his shoulders.

Having said this, on to a slightly different, perhaps delusional and even preposterous but entirely plausible...the SUPERBOWL. I want to throw out all the odds, chances, guesses and everything. When it comes to playoffs, it's your best effort, best foot forward. In it to win it, at all costs, the season stats don't matter, nothing matters, just winning.

Say we go, by a stroke of luck, excellence and genius playcalling, say we make it, us, the lions, to Indianapolis. IF that happens, what will you guys do? I have been looking up hotels and plane tickets, ticket prices and travel routers (see:delusional homer) and all that fun stuff, I am tempted to reserve a hotel and all, but I have my wits about me, it's a long road to Indy, but I feel we can do it. If it does happen, ticket prices don't matter, I will go, I will be there, I'll have a huge sign with PRIDE OF DETROIT on it, I'll have my lions jersey (#81 baby), my lions hat, everything, all in, all my cards on the table.

I am only 24, I am sure many of you have experienced the sad devolution of this franchise, but have also watched it prosper. I have been a fan since 8, lions have never been to a Superbowl, this could be our moment, and I wouldn't miss it for the world. No price is too much, no distant too far, no barriers in my way. I bleed honolulu blue and silver, these are our lions, my lions, and history is in the making.
