Two Bro's Talk - Lions Defense vs Vikings Offense

This is a new format for our podcast where we break down the game preview into two separate podcasts in order to reduce the time that you need to listen to them. The postgame analysis is going to be scrapped because they were not very popular. So we will talk about the Lions offense vs the opponents defense in one podcast. The other will be the Lions defense vs the opponents offense. That format has allowed this podcast to be only a bit more than 23 minutes in length.

In this edition, the Two Bro's talk about how the Lions defense can stop the Vikings offense in their upcoming NFL contest. Evilsmurf and Tufflynx also discuss how the inexperience of Christian Ponder could hurt the Vikings in this game and how special teams will have to keep Percy Harvin contained.

Great idea to split it up like this! This will be far more approachable

Yeah we will keep trying to improve it. Our Goal is to get it down to 15 minute episodes, no more than 20 minutes. This one is a bit over of course, being our first shot at the new format and talking a bit about the changes in formatting.

We truly do appreciate each and every one of you that listens to these and we also hope to continue to improve not only the delivery method but the content as well.

You would hope so, but yes we need the next 3 very badly now, kind of ironic that finishing the season on a 4 game win streak to make the playoffs is looking like the scenario now

Guess I’m greedy

I could listen to you guys talk all day, in fact, I actually do. I download them and play them on a loop as I go about my daily rounds. I enjoy them that much! So now you’re going to give me less – boo, hiss, hiss!

Okay, I’m over it, at least for now.

What makes this game interesting is that we won’t have either Suh or Fairley and we still have a huge hole in the secondary because neither Spievey or Harris could cover the ground with a blanket.

This should give Ponder a bit more time and he will be throwing the ball because the D line he will be playing against are excellent run stuffers. Ponder could put up some points and some ints as well. I give them 21 points.
