Rogers or Haynesworth
Simple question....Who would you rather have Mayhew take a chance on, Albert Haynesworth or Shaun Rogers.
I am actually completely torn on the two players because I think both would play their best ball in Detroit, Rogers because he absolutely loves the city of Detroit and playing for the Lions and Haynesworth because I think Jim Schwartz brings the best out of the big man.
Now they both have their downsides too, Rogers can hardly stay healthy anymore and can be kinda lazy at times, as for Haynesworth everyone and their mother has heard about him whining in the media about the coaching and system in Washington, also he can be lazy but I dont know if thats as much him trying to show up the coaching staff or what.
Honestly, I would probably take Haynesworth over Rogers simply because I think the upside is much bigger, and he has already been paid so much I think he will come pretty cheap for this talent level. But if Haynesworth doesnt wanna be possible a backup/spot starter, then I think Rogers would be happy to come home to his favorite Detroit strip clubs, I mean Lions.
What do you think?

if forced to choose
Big Al gets the nod. But their upsides are both speculative. Who knows? Maybe we bring them both in and they both have pro bowl years. Maybe we bring them both in and they both wind out being lazy and terrible?
Maybe we pull the trigger on one, and the other has a tour de force revival?
It’s a hairy situation. I’m just happy I don’t have to make the decision.
And my poll is being dominated
By a block of swiss cheese.

Shaun Rodgers May Visit the Redskins
Maybe they plan to rotate Rodgers and Haynesworth to make one, damn thats alot of weight.
BOBBY " BOUCHER " CARPENTER for PRESIDENT...
P.C.P IS AN ADDICTION, GET HOOKED.
CASEY MATTHEWS for VICE PRESIDENT...
you beat me...
I was just going to say the same thing. It would take both to make 1 decent player. If they rotated every other play, it wouldn’t be bad. Keep in mind, we currently have CW, and every other play, he’s getting flagged for offsides. We’re not getting rid of Hill. He’s good for the price we got him at. SIgn both though at the league minimum, I’m okay with that! Then put incentives in the deal. If it’s not working come August, cut bait!
THIS IS LIONS TERRITORY!
These threads are getting old
Rogers is old and fat and you don’t know what you will get with Haynesworth. I trust Schwartz and Mayhew. If they bring one here it will be okay with me, but I highly doubt they will. We need to focus on the back 7
NFL Network is reporting the Shaun will meet with the Redskins on Friday
This is the Motor City. And this is what we do...
