I love to watch the draft and I always see teams make trades and pick up extra picks. The last couple of years we were not in a good position to trade, this year I think we are.I think there are several players that teams covet available when we go on the clock.I also think that CB and LB prospects are still there a little later in the draft, ala Ayers, Smith, and Harris.Cameron jordan or Solder make pretty good "consolation prizes".I think NE may be willing to jump ahead of ST.L and Miami And the Jags as they are the kinda team where one player could put them over the hump. They also have alot of picks to work around. With that in mind let me bounce these thoughts off you guys.We trade #13 to NE for #17 and #74 (1150 pts vs.1170) Also consider #13 and #106 for #17 and #60 (1232 vs. 1250 pts.) To go even more "crazy",what about #13 and #137 for #28 and #33 (1210 vs.1240).Harris or Smith could be there @28 and Leshoure or Pouncey could be the "consolation prize". Keep in mind that #33 is a big pick, top pick on day 2,and sure to generate lots of interest overnight. Our Lions could consider Denver @ #36 and #46 or San Diego @#50 and #61 as trading partners. We could end up with Titus Young or Torey Smith or Baldwin as our 3rd WR and grab Carter @ LB and the 2 Texas CB are there or Dowling,Even S Rahim Moore is a possibility.Three 2nd round picks could really add depth to our roster. This is my first crack at this, but as a LONG time Lion fan I think I'm entitled to my 2 cents worth.Alot of yoopers root for the Packers, but I always stayed a Michigan sports fan.Terry Barr and Nighttrain were my guys,Stormin' Norman was my Tiger.I think Mayhew and Schwartz are on track,And I see !0 wins next year a real possibility. Have a good day!!
