Trading the 13th Pick

In the last couple of days, there has been a lot talk both locally and nationally about who the Lions will take with their first round pick. Draft experts like Todd McShay, Mel Kiper, and Mike Mayock have all given their prediction on who they think the Lions will take with the pick. Still, I think one option that is being grossly overlooked by everyone is the potential of a trade. General Manager Martin Mayhew has been the wizard of trades in the past two offseasons, and there is no reason to believe that he won’t trade the pick. He is already on record saying that he is more of a trade down kind of guy, and he has traded out of several picks in the past two drafts.

More at House of Spears...

Note: sorry for only posting the first paragraph here. I'm trying to get Lions fans to notice my site, and the best way to do that is to get their asses over there...
