It seems like the things continue to line up for Stephen Tulloch coming to Detroit. Did anyone else see this article this past weekend at the Detroit News? More details including quotes from Schwartz at CBS Sportsline. It seems like odd timing for it to be posted since the quotes are all from a month and a half ago. It sure seems like everyone is saying the right thing that would indicate the plans are in place. Head Coach careful not to come close to tampering but saying "right now" Levy is our starting MLB. Levy indicating that he is a team player and "has no preference". McCosky adds that it would be "easier to acquire" a MLB than OLB. I've previously posted that Tulloch is the most likely target for us in free agency for the following reasons (after the jump):
***Last but not least, the chance to work behind Suh
The biggest arguments against him coming to Detroit that I heard was issues with Levy moving outside (I never thought that was an issue if we can bring in a Pro-Bowl MLB) and other free agents that people preferred. Now we know Harris, Woodly and Hali have been tagged. Then drum roll please... today Greenway was tagged.
This is not a guarantee that this is going to happen. But, the thing that I think that may be the only roadblock is other teams coming in and significantly out bidding us.
