I really like this kid. He's a beast in press coverage, something that Schwartz and co. covet in a cornerback. He's tall, fast, strong, and just absolutely balls like some of the best currently in the NFL, even drawing comparisons to Nnamdi Asomugha. The main problem with this kid...off the field issues.
Jimmy Smith has everything you could possibly want from a #1 corner. Pair him up with Chris Houston and Alphonso Smith and you get three young corners with a lot of potential and a solid cornerback corps. With the D-line being a sick as it is and with Levy coming into his own, adding a new linebacker or two wouldn't be as a big deal if the secondary and d-line were dominant.
I'm adding a poll to see what player you would like to see the Lions draft at #13 and feel free to comment on why you would or wouldn't pick Jimmy Smith, my pick for #13.
