Sidney Rice is expected to try free agency according to this article.
The Lions are looking like they could shape up to be more competitive than the Vikes (I hope) next year. And with a questionable QB situation, why not come to mo-town where a healed Stafford can show Sidney what it means to be a WR in this league!! (Besides, didn't he see the Detroit Chrysler SB commercial? Why would you not want to come to Detroit after that?)
I know he'd be way too expensive (though his injury last year might take the price down a bit) . And I imagine he'd be looking for a WR #1 which of course wouldn't be the case here. I also think any major investments need to be made on the other side of the ball (maybe OL is an exception). To be honest, I wouldn't really be a fan of the move with so much work to do in other areas, but I can't help dreaming...
Rice, CJ, Nate in the slot, and Stafford (fuh-geddaboddid). Just CJ and Rice alone would command 4 opposing DBs!
I also sometimes like to think about hooking up with Beyonce, and many other totally unrealistic things.
Anyway, fun to think about,
