4-game win streak or Patrick Peterson?

Here is something I've been thinking about recently.  I personally think Patrick Peterson is the best player in this draft and a future pro bowler right away.  He would look beautiful in a Lions jersey.  However, because the Lions finished the season with a 4-game win streak meant the Lions will not get a shot at him.

I personally am torn over this.  I think the Lions 4 game win streak definitely has a carryover in the sense of confidence and momentum.  Schwartz's whole point to the players is let's not get cocky, we only won 6 games last year, let's get back to work.  But I think with a snake bitten franchise like the Detroit Lions, those 6 wins and 4-game win streak cannot be underestimated.  And you can definitely see real improvement in talent.  It is too bad though that we will never get to see Patrick Peterson in a Lions jersey.  Picking at #13 is a different thing for Lions fans and not something we are used to.  But I suppose that's a good thing, so long as Matt Millen isn't the one calling the shots trying to find the hidden gems.  Let me know what you guys think.
