The countdown is on! Only three long days (nearly 72 hours exactly) until we all get to find out where players will be drafted and who the Lions
will pick in the 1st round. After a recent dream (which I'll reference later on) I've come up with a sort of fun discussion. We all know too well that no matter how many of those obnoxious mock drafts we do and read the draft will ultimately turn out in a way no one had predicted. Every team has their own agenda separate from the fans and the media (and common sense in Matt Millen's case) and they will pick who they believe fits the criteria of pick number whatever. Even if it seems like a reach (again refering mainly to Millen). So instead of telling your best case scenario or another regurgitation of Mel Kiper's draft board share your one (or more) bold prediction that will shake up the draft and life as we know it.
For example if it were this time a year ago I might say Jimmy Clausen
will not be picked in the first round. Or that Tyson Alualu
would be a top 10 pick. These may have been pretty far-fetched but they actually happened! Hell, even Tim Tebow
being picked by Denver in round 1 made a ton of people's jaws drop. So here is my bold prediction/dream that will shake up the draft as we know it. **Jake Locker will be the 8th overall pick by the Tennessee Titans
.** Again, please share something bold that people may laugh at but if it happens draft day and everyone else is shocked you'll be able to say "I told you so!"
One more thing, is it weird to have a dream about the draft? Thanks Pride of Detroit for doing this to me!!!!!
