I'll keep this short and as non cynical as possible.

I don't get the buzz on Cam Newton.   After playing one year of D1 football and before the combine he was predicted to go early 2nd round (The Sporting News and Pro Football Draft Magazine), then he goes to the combine and was about as accurate as a beebee gun at a carnival... and now he's projected to go #1 to the Panthers??  Are you Serious!! (I'm going for the Dickie V. voice on that!) 

It's hard to believe but I had the same attitude towards JaMarcus Russell when he went #1 and well... lets just say I was right!  I will admit that Cam is a playmaker but .... number 1?   Maaaaaaannn.  Out of anyone on the board right now, is he seriously the best player available?  I have to go with Blaine, thats my pick.
