I'm a big Madden fan
and while I agree that Peterson should be the highest rated rookie, an 82 overall seems kind of low for the top guy in the class. Granted, this draft class wasn’t real strong, but last year you had rookies like Suh and Berry that started with an 85 rating, and even McCoy, Iupati, and Okung started with an 84, and they all basically proved that they deserve those higher ratings, if not more (Suh finished the season with a 90 overall). And Peterson is someone that has that elite prospect status (just ask Mayhew). But it seems that cornerback, like QB, is a position that they tend to grade harder in Madden for rookie ratings though. So here’s hoping that Fairley starts with at least an 80 overall, despite his slide on draft day. I see Titus and Leshoure both starting in the early to mid-70s.
Anyway, that’s my really pointless post in these dark days of a lockout. Free agency can’t start soon enoguh.
