Bettors Jumping On The Detroit Lions Bandwagon?

Stay connected for news and updates

Throughout the offseason, the odds of the Detroit Lions winning the 2012 Super Bowl have been around 35/1. They have improved greatly from last season and have especially improved greatly from a few years ago. The Lions have gone from being complete long shots to even make the playoffs to now being in the middle of the pack when it comes to favorites to win the big game.

The Lions' current odds of winning the Super Bowl have actually come all the way down to 20/1 at the MGM Casino. What caused this sudden drop? Well, a lot of people have been betting on the Lions to win it all next season.

As the national writers who have been singing the Lions' praises this offseason showed us, a lot of people are jumping on the bandwagon, and not just locally. People across the country are taking notice of what the Jim Schwartz and company are building here in Detroit, especially those who are willing to put their own money on the line.
