Lions Notes: Matthew Stafford's Return To Have Biggest Impact In NFL?

  • A video has been posted of a Q&A with Titus Young from the NFL Player Rookie Premiere last week.
  • Dave Birkett interviewed Syracuse linebackers coach Dan Conley about Lions draft pick Doug Hogue.
  • NFL.com's Bucky Brooks thinks Matthew Stafford's return from being injured last year "will have the biggest impact in the league." Brooks believes Stafford can throw for 4,000 yards and make the Lions' offense "one of the most explosive in football." He also thinks the Lions can contend for an NFC North title if Stafford stays healthy. Let's hope he's right and let's hope Stafford does in fact stay healthy.
  • Speaking of Stafford, don't forget he is scheduled to be on NFL Total Access on NFL Network today.
  • Nate Burleson called into 97.1 The Ticket yesterday to clarify his comments that were blown out of proportion by the Free Press.
  • Burleson recently had to go to the doctor to get his elbow drained because it was starting to look like a knee. Nasty.
  • Ndamukong Suh made it to Paris yesterday as part of the Gumball 3000 and said he is "amazed at how beautiful" it is.
