The Lions brass isn't stating so, but based on my "inside sources" I believe that Suh and maybe even Nick Fairley will be moved around, alot like last year when they ran that chaos formation.
It's a very deep defensive line and with Gun being such a creative coordinator, it could be a quarterback's worst nightmare. The thing that I love about Suh and Fairley is that they both have defensive end like pass rushing ability from the tackle spot. If you kick either one of these guys outside, I really don't see a drop in production from any spot on that line. This has to be the most talented and deepest line in the entire NFL as of right now.
The Detroit Lions now boast arguably the best defensive line in the league. They also have an offense that is finally completed- three good receivers, solid tight end group, underrated pass blocking o-line, two good backs, and a quarterback that could be elite. The team is now talented enough to start going to the playoffs and I want to go out on a limb right now and make a prediction:
(13-3) 1st in the NFC North -Green Bay-
(10-6) 2nd in the NFC North -Detroit- *wildcard*
(9-7) 3rd in the NFC North -Chicago-
(5-11) Last in NFC North -Vikings-
1) @Tampa Bay W
2) vs Kansas City W
3) @Minnesota W
4) @Dallas L
5) vs Chicago W
6) vs San Francisco W
7) vs Atlanta W
8) @ Denver L
9) @ Chicago L
10) vs Carolina W
11) vs Green Bay W
12) @ New Orleans L
13) vs Minnesota W
14) @ Oakland L
15) vs San Diego L
16) @ Green Bay W (Just Like last year, the wildcard winner has to beat the division champ to get in, and it happens)
