I saw his Chrysler commercial this morning and I got to thinking; this guy really has pretty much been nothing but a bright light on Detroit since he got here.
We all agree that by far was the best advertisement/commercial during the SuperBowl was the Eminem and Chrysler commercial. I'm not saying that because I grew up near Detroit and show bias. I'm saying it because it told the truth about Detroit and the struggles its seen and somehow made it a very inspiring commercial. Honestly I don't think they could have asked a better person at the time to collaborate with but the commercial and the Story of Eminem makes perfect sence.
Now the newest one features Suh, driving a Chrysler and talking about new beginnings and somehow the D is always home.
This guy is seriously one of the biggest pieces that is turning this franchise around. Not only does he dominate on the field but his face is seriously everywhere! When I first moved out here to Maryland two years ago, I got the usual treatment after I told someone my team was Detroit. But lately... when I meet somebody and tell them who my team is their first response is "Oh yeah Suh's team! You guys have a scary ass DLine!" Just to hear that is awesome!
I know there are several people in that are responsible for this. Mayhew for starters... lets face it; they guy has made some good decision's hasn't blinked or 2nd guessed anything yet. Jimmy Schwartz is another factor too and the list goes on.
Just thought I'd take a second and give props .
