Mike is just telling the truth. At least one Bear can tell it like it is.

As far as us using the least number of blockers in the league. That is a bit surprising. On the other hand, if you read that article further, we are also in the top 3rd of the league in allowing pressure and sacks.

We all know by now that our O line played better this last season but I have to believe that a large chunk of these nice numbers relative to the number of blockers resulted from getting the ball out as fast as humanly possible. You can’t pressure a QB if he has already dropped off the ball. hence our miserable YPC.

I like Wins, Cheese and I also Like Cookies. If you don't. Wow. :P

of course our quick tempo offense plays a large role

and having Hill dump it off all the time…it’s still miles ahead of what we thought they’d play like given past years…

One good thing about Ditka

He’s honest, and tells it how it is.

wow, I love pff

The fact that the Lions used the least number of blockers per pass play on average last season and also were ranked 7th best in giving up pressures just shows you how much all this talk about our oline being crap is fooey. I know I’m beating a horse who’s been dead for a while now…but come, how much proof do you need????

We all knew Pitts line was quite bad

but 50% of the time, surrendering pressures? Really!? I know a good number of those are on Ben, no doubt – but it’s still nuts to have that high of a number from a superbowl team…

Is there a Hard Knocks poll that we've been in that we haven't won?

My grandfather was a Packers fan, my father is a Vikings fan, I am a Lions fan, and there is no way in hell I am raising a Bears fan.
Oh, and I hate the Philadelphia Eagles

Shows how well our offensive line played

The fact that we still were one of the top lines despite using few extra blockers bodes well for us.

As you know, I’m a huge NFL and NRL fan and I wouldn’t pick a soccer game over them in a million years, but one of the most exciting moments in sport I’ve ever had was when the Australian national team won their first world cup match against Japan. Soccer can be pretty exciting at times.

RIP Robyn Bailey 1961 - 2010. I love you mum.

The Lions used the least number of blockers per pass play on average last season.

Oh but nooo, we can’t protect our quarterback and we only allowed so few sacks because of dumpoffs and short throws…
