Well, as they say, shit just got real. Albert Breer has a writeup on NFL.com where he talks about the potential economic impacts of the lockout. I'll summarize briefly: if they don't get a deal soon, the potential losses could be upwards of $1 billion (not million). I'm sure that turned some heads on both sides of the table. Take a look. I believe that people will generally act in their own best interest, and hemorrhaging a billion dollars just because you don't want to lose a few hundred million a year just does not make economic sense.
Look for some good news about a deal being done within the next 7-10 days.
