LA Raiders and LA 49ers LOL
Seriously Madden really did not do them any good. I have seen rookies drafted in the second with much higher ratings. Some of them probably.

I think Titus' and LeShoure's are probably right where they should be
I’d have to see the entire thing, like speed, agility, ect…but it seems like it’s pretty accurate to me.

Leshoure's rating is okay, but it seems Young should be a little higher than 67...
I figured low 70’s like 71 or 72
He who laughs last didn't get it.
+1
67 for TD Young is just flat out ridiculous. Being drafted in the 2nd round alone is worth a 70 + rating !

My grandfather was a Packers fan, my father is a Vikings fan, I am a Lions fan, and there is no way in hell I am raising a Bears fan.
Oh, and I hate the Philadelphia Eagles (but like the Phillies)

I liked that F.A. article
Another reason to not sign Randy Moss. Read it.

70 for Cobb? Not terrible.
But only 67 for Young? And no Helu or Alex Green at all?

I don't like how Madden is second guessing the teams
If you look at the top tens in RB an WR you see they stick to draft order pretty good except for a few cases where they put a guy drafted in the 5th round up with 2nd rounders and vice versa. So now the Madden douche bags are going to give us who they think is the draft gems and busts prior to seeing them play a down? I wish they would go back and look to see if they ever got this stuff right in the past. You know, did they give an inflated rating to a guy who DID turn out to be a gem? Did they downgrade someone who DID turn out to be a bust? I am willing to bet if they had a better track record than the NFL teams, they would not still be programming a game.
I agree but....
they do have the roster updates that come out every week that updates ratings and roster moves.

They aren't just arbitrary numbers.
They evaluate each player and give them certain attribute ratings based on their combine numbers and college production I believe. The average (with certain categories weighted more heavily for certain positions) is the rating we see there. So a player that may have fell due to injury or character concerns would be ranked higher on the game than their draft spot would normally warrant.
At least that’s how I think they do it.

Meh
If that is so, then why is Nick Fairley, who was once considered a top 3 pick and fell due to character concerns-not in the top 10 rookies?
An alternative hypothesis: They collect all the data and rate each attribute based on combine numbers and which team drafted them. More popular teams get a bonus and less popular teams get a knock.
