Last we heard no deal between the Detroit Lions and linebacker Justin Durant was complete, but the thinking was things might have been close. That might still be the case, but even if it is Durant sounds like he is set to become a Lion. From his Twitter page:

As Dave Birkett said on Twitter, the Lions and Durant may have worked something out, but now there's just some paperwork to take care of. Of course, free agents can't officially sign until Friday, but this may be a case of there just being some final details that need to be worked out before a deal is officially agreed to.
All I know is Durant's tweet sure makes it sound like he is headed to Detroit, and he sounds pretty pumped to be joining the Lions.
UPDATE: Durant just tweeted this: "Haha my mentions goin CRAZY right now!!! Detroit what up doe!?!?" I think it's safe to say he is a Lion (unofficially, anyway).
