When I first heard that linebacker Justin Durant had agreed to a deal with the Detroit Lions, I figured that meant they weren't going to sign Stephen Tulloch. While the Lions do have more than one starting spot open at linebacker, it just didn't seem likely that Durant and Tulloch could both be signed.
As it stands right now, it doesn't appear that the Durant deal has taken Tulloch's presumed offer off the table. In fact, Durant said this on Twitter:
I might need to holla at my boy Tulloch and see what's good
It appears the Lions now have Louis Delmas, Kyle Vanden Bosch and Durant recruiting Tulloch to sign with Detroit. At this point it's tough to tell what the Lions' plans are, but with three different players working the case, it sure seems like they still want Tulloch to join the team.
