As soon as NFL free agency got started earlier this week, one of the big questions involved what the Detroit Lions were planning to do at linebacker. Their first move, as we found out, was to sign Justin Durant. Even after he was added talk continued about possibly signing Stephen Tulloch or Nick Barnett, and the latter of the two is expected to visit the Lions today.

It seems like if anything is going to happen at linebacker, today is the day. Whether it's Barnett enjoying his visit enough to sign or him opting for Buffalo and forcing the Lions to go in another direction, it feels like this will be the day where the Lions' linebacker plans are cleared up a bit.

Regardless of what happens today with Barnett or at linebacker, plenty of other news is expected. Since the Lions aren't scheduled to practice today much of it might be related to other teams, but feel free to discuss it all in this open thread.
