O-Line Situation

As a Lions fan living in MA, my main exposure to Lions news is POD, ESPN, NFL Network and MLive. Every time I read/ hear about the Lions offensive line, "experts" (note the quotations) from ESPN and NFL Newtwork seem to tear it apart and say they need to improve it to keep Stafford healthy; however, I hear others arguing that our O-Line is top 5 in the percent of pass plays resulting in sacks. Assuming Backus and Gosder are healthy this season (please?), can someone please explain why there are such mixed reports?

It seems to me the mixed analysis stems from the fact that Stafford was injured. I don't get to watch many Lions games, unfortunately, so I can't see for myself usually. This season I plan on streaming all of the games that aren't televised nationally (MNF, Turkey Day, playoffs...   ....).

Go Lions. I can't live much longer with Patriots fans unless you break .500.
