Detroit Lions Training Camp: Notes From Thursday's Practice
- Today's Detroit Lions practice had to be moved inside due to bad weather.
- The Lions are set to have a day off on Saturday and have a practice at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday. That practice will be open to the public, as will Monday's practice at 9:15 a.m.
- Jim Schwartz described today's session as a "light practice."
- CB Eric Wright returned to practice today.
- WR Titus Young, WR Demario Ballard, TE Tony Scheffler and S John Wendling were among the players sidelined from practice today.
- The good news is that Young was off to the side running routes and catching passes from Zac Robinson.
- CB Chris Houston did practice, but not for the entire session.
- DT Andre Fluellen got his cast off today, indicating that he could be close to returning.
- CB Alphonso Smith also may be getting close to returning. Today he was doing "light cutting" off to the side during practice.
- Rashied Davis was the Lions' third receiver today.

Hoping Titus can get some practice in and play at least 1 or 2 preseason games. And hopefully we have some healthy corners to start the regular season.
Let's see if this works. CJ sleeping on the bus ride to CLE.

You know my opinion....
I’ve been asking a lot of questions regarding DWills status and can’t get a good answer.
The CBS guy says to expect the bubble guys to play a lot tomorrow.

i cant believe
theres been no talks of all the fights at wednesdays practice, i saw hilliard and vandenbosch throwin down and the play before i think pettigrew and williams were goin at it, these 2 plays were back to back fights which is why schwartz made everyone run suicides in the middle of wednesdays practice
Blowing off steam after the lockout?
…maybe pre-season play isn’t enough for them?
It happens. When I was in school and dudes would scrap, they almost always were either
1. Enemies who turned into friends as a result
2. Friends who had a misunderstanding and got tighter as a result
Really it’s much ado about nothing. Come MNF the team will be united, which is all I really give a fuck about.
