Lions' Tony Scheffler, Others Ruled Out For Friday's Browns Game
An official list of players inactive for tomorrow's game against the Cleveland Browns won't be out until an hour or two before kickoff. For now we do already know that some players won't be playing because Lions head coach Jim Schwartz ruled a few guys out today.
The list of players already ruled out for tomorrow's game includes tight end Tony Scheffler, offensive tackle Jeff Backus, offensive tackle Jason Fox and defensive tackle Nick Fairley. Backus, Fox and Fairley are all still recovering from injuries, so there's no surprise there. Scheffler is set to miss tomorrow's game because of the stitches he just had put in his hand yesterday. The Lions don't want him to do more damage, so he will be out on Friday.
Schwartz listed three players as game-time decisions for the Browns game: cornerbacks Eric Wright and Chris Houston and safety John Wendling. Schwartz will evaluate how they do in warm-ups before deciding if they will play or not.
Other players that are unlikely to play tomorrow are running back Maurice Morris, wide receiver Titus Young, wide receiver Demario Ballard, defensive tackle Andre Fluellen and cornerback Alphonso Smith. None of these players have practiced recently aside from Ballard, and he was in a walking boot earlier this week after suffering a foot injury.

The Dis-Assembly Line - The unofficial, official name for the next best D-line in football.
Morris needs to get his ass out there SOON
If he wants to make this team.
How many lumps you want Doc?
Morris' hand is in a cast.
What do you expect him to do on the field? Carry the ball in his mouth?

Based on the past
I’d say the starters play most of the first half. Next week they’ll play almost the whole game, and then the final week will be all bottom feeders.
So...
How bad is Young’s hammy? It’s been downplayed an awful lot, but the dude is practicing hardly, if at all.
I'm seriosly worried about him.
All the reps he is missing. Timing with Stafford. The importance of the number 3 WR spot. I think we need him to put our offense over the top.
The Disassembly Line....nuff said.
young
Heard something yesterday about tightness taking reps on the sideline yesterday.light running and catching i believe.
