The Detroit Lions
are 2-0 this preason, and a lot of people I know think that it's bad that they do good every preseason. The Lions in the past few years have had an 0-16 season, a 2-14 season 2 more 2-14 seasons. But last year the Lions finished 6-10 their best record since going 9-7 in 2000. The Lions only used their regular starting QB Matthew Stafford
for about 3 quarters due to to shoulder injurys. Stafford has got through the first 2 preseason games without getting hurt. If Stafford, Best, Fairly, Suh, Johnson, Burelson, Delmas, Smith, and Houston can stay pretty healthy we could get to maybe 10-12 wins this season it just depends on who can stay healthy the whole season. Let's talk about Ndamukong Suh
and fines. Suh entering his second season in the NFL has already recieved three fines including one so far this preseason. If Suh puts a dangerous hit on Tom Brady
, Peyton Manning
, or Drew Brees
etc. he could get suspended. Imagine the Lions without Suh for about three games. Well, actually depending on who he hit. Yeah, we still have Fairley, Avril, and Venden Boesch, but Avril is the only one healthy right now. The Lions in my opinion had a very good first 2 picks in the NFL Draft earlier this year picking Fairley and the Titus Young. But both of them are dealing with injuries they occured during practices. Part 2: The Lions signed one what they say "key" addiction to the defensive back position Eric Wright
, I'm not really happy with it though I'll only be happy if he gets at least two interceptions this season. I am very pleased that the Lions signed now former Tennesee Titan Safety Stephen Tulloch
who lead the leauge in tackles last season with like 118 or something around there. Well, thay
that's it. Next post tomorrow at 3:30 PM EST. Hope you enjoyed! Go Lions!
