I read a quick article by Philly Zaroo this morning talking about one of our Undrafted Free Agents.

I guess we have a WR by the name of Demario Ballard who stands 6'6" and weights 220.  Naturally I know nothing about this guy nor heard of him because of him coming from a smaller school like Western Oregon.  His body frame would definitely stand out to somebody but apparently he caught some eyes this week in the Lions 7 on 7 drills making some impressive catches and uses his body pretty well to shield defenders.  Jim Schwartz spoke about him a little bit obviously noting his tremendous size but was quick to comment that he still has a long way to go. 

I'm not going to make the bold prediction just yet and say that we may have found a gem in the UDFA class but don't be surprised to see quite a few balls thrown his way next Friday night in our first Pre Season game; I can't wait to see what this guy can bring to the table.

Anyone have any inside on this guy?
