"Obviously our fullback position has been de-emphasized and we’re using different people in those roles and it was time to make that move."

confirmation
on everything we’ve been discussing around here about Felton.
To be honest I am alittle surprise
but it makes sense.
Yooperlionfan is officially "the man"
the Lions D-Line: the Four Horsemen of the A-sack-alypse
Jim Schwart: Erasing the stink of Millen, one fist pump at a time.
P.C.P: It is not just for recreation anymore.
I wasnt a big fan of Felton but didnt see him being released.
The running game is lacking a power runner not saying Felton would or would not of filled that role but now there is a big ? Mark in that department.
Saying that i have to believe Schartz and Mayhew have something in the works, there will be plenty of powerbacks hitting the market shortly. Lets go Martin we are all dying to see a mayhew…

wow! He said something quite straight forward with no obfuscation.
He’s met his quota for the year, so expect more simple statements of “We saw room to make a change and went another direction”
The mystery I see in this is what’s Clapp’s role or why wasn’t he cut as well.
Individuals should protect themselves. Governments can't protect individuals from themselves, it's just impossible, otherwise they become a tyranical state. -Ron Paul
I'm assuming
It was a service to Felton so that he could find another team before the season begins. The other fullbacks aren’t owed that courtesy or even necessarily expected to get a job elsewhere, so they’re collecting paychecks until they have to be cut.

Maurice Morris
is who i’d like to see on short yardage situations. not ideal, but he’s quickest to the hole of our RBs.
