Leshoure Carted off Field
According to reporters on the scene at practice, Lions rookie RB Mikel Leshoure was carted off field today with a left leg injury.
Killer also confirmed the reports.
It seems like everyone is falling to the injury bug this offseason, more than usual. Which raises a bigger question: is the fact that players had to train without professional help this offseason related to all these injuries? And with the new CBA, and a cutback on practice time, will this type of thing continue in future offseasons? Either way it sucks. Let's hope Leshoure's injury is minimal and he's back out there in a few weeks. If not, that's Fairley, Young and now Leshoure who will miss significant on-field development as rookies.

Knee injury
per 97.1. Not good.
Maybe not
"Left leg injury for Mikel Leshoure. Being carted off the field. Looks bad," Tim Twentyman of the Detroit News wrote."They were working around the ankle and Achilles area."
Screw P90x and get on the Brian Cushing Workout Plan.

Are you kidding me are any of our rookies going to be available at the
start of the season ???

yes, there does seem to be more injuries than usual for ten days into camp
especially considering that they are limited on the number of hitting practices. Its safe to say that the lock out should have some of the blame
Crap
All 3 top rookies had a great shot to start from day 1 and all look like they’re going to miss significant time in camp and probably end up as back-ups to start the season. Definite bummer.

Leshoure just tweeted this. Kinda cryptic if you ask me. Doesn’t sound good:
“Fully focused on the next chapter of my career here with the Lions, but one of my guys found this video ”http://www.sportsbuzz.com/buzz/17266" target="_blank">http://www.sportsbuzz.com/buzz/17266"
says I gotta be a member
Any idea what the video had in it?

I witnessed the injury.
On the ground, LeShoure was grabbing an area immediately beneath his left knee.
Not good!
Titus Young also left practice early with what appeared to be the return of the hamstring injury that has kept him out of every practice until today.
Gosder returned today and participated in the full pads practice.
As much as I live Row your boat, Young, and Fairly...
I STILL don’t see this as ruining our season… And I can’t tell you how refreshing that is…..
Oh, and this is my 4000th comment… lol
All men are created equal. Its just that some men are more equal than others....
Congrats
I dont think it will ruin our season but could be big down the road, we want our guys to get some playing time as rookies to kind of edge them in there, but maybe that titus gets the most field time this preseason…. just dont know how much at that. Do we sign someone to one year deal at RB

Really disappointed by this injury
I was really looking forward to our backfield this year. Injuries suck and for the first time in my life I have high-faith in our coaching staff and administration. Injuries can knock this team down a bit.
Feel terrible for Leshoure, too.
haha well bring the potsmokin monster

I asked God for a bike, but I know God doesn't work that way. So I stole a bike and asked for forgiveness.
