I do not know about the rest of you but I am fiending for some football so badly right now, the Thursday games (not Lions games) are looking exciting. I am talking about exhibition (glorified practice) games of teams that are not even mine. I need to see some stinking football all ready!

I want to sit back, drink a beer and scream at the screen while risking the well being of my remote control. I want to curse at decisions made and not made. I want to revel in great plays and laugh at massive failures. I want to see young breakout players make their mark on the league. I want to see old timers pull one more great season our of their duffs.

I want to have that "discussion" with the lady (Every Sunday for three months) and remind her of "the deal" we made oh so long ago. She remembers the deal. I waste precious time from my ever shortening life watching some sob story chick flick about three women aging together and learning the true meaning of life and love and she leaves me the hell alone during Sunday football.

I want to see my team play. I want to see our new improved back seven prove they are better than advertised behind our Demonic, heart eating, soul ravaging, defensive line. I want to see opposing QBs heads popped off like so many bottle caps during a weekend keeger at a frat house.

I want to see a healthy Stafford, even if I have no faith in it happening. I want to see this young kid break out and earn those preposterous pay checks he has been getting. I want to see a legitimate running game. One that can put enough pressure on the defense in the middle to free up the flats and deep middle to our receivers.

I just want to see some damn football already. The time for waiting is almost up!
