We lead the NFL in Rush Defense right now giving up only 55 yards to a team who is a middle of the pack in run offense. Balitimore shut down the Steelers run game holding them to 66 yards.... Detroit Baltimore........Hmmmm wouldnt that be nice. We shaved 3 points allowed off last years average.......of 23. Me thinks that if the D can hold opponents to between 10 and 17 points with our current offense, Lions will do better than most all predictions suggest. Because half of Tampas points are non drive related Detroit D needs to get Takeaway Points on its own, thus neutralizing the opponents points from non defensive drives by opponents special teams or offensive breakdowns.. Defense wins championships, Lions fans are sitting in pretty good company with Balitmore....what is not to like about that?
