Lets see, KC Chiefs lose to Chan G's Bills at home by the largest margin for a loss in home history....oh my...
So whats good about the Chiefs...Running backs are excellent running and recving, they are all the offense the chiefs have right now. Thier effectivness depended on a lot of 3TE sets, with Moeaki gone, chiefs dont have the depth at TE to run the same offense....
Defense...Linebackers are salty and will play up to the system the coordinator schemes.
Whats Bad about the Chiefs.
Oline, especially the right including the center. They will have to help against the Lions, T Jones in backfield might relieve some of the stress, Detroits safety play will smoother chief options, on short middle stuff, leaving one weapon Bowe for deep throws.
Gunther (long memory ) the former Chief should have a field day Sunday, its hard for me to see anyway this game is close. Special teams can be good for the Chiefs, but Mccluster is just as likely to flub as he is to have a great game.
Chiefs corners will have trouble against Lions...not even close, Flowers is good but Flowers on Megatron..... Saftey which is critical in KC D, took a hit with Berry out.Depth behind him was exposed for what it is, a mish mash of fillins, Detroit TE's will own the middle routes, this might also be a good game for Titus Young, as the chiefs backfield is at his level right now, might be a good confidence builder to give him some touches.
Detroits D should dominate this game, they have a chance to goose egg the chiefs.....(excepting Special teams & Takeaway points)
Cassel is mobile, roll left or right, but not fast, lions front four should feast, can see no way that any single matchup favors chiefs, Tampa has some damn good linemen, Chiefs only two, all the others are young and unprepared for Lions D level of play....Tull & other LB should get some takeaways, Cassel throws picks under pressure.
Lions need to stop the run, because that is the only weapon the Chiefs really have, without an effective run game and TE's hampered by injury...i see this as a blowout.
