Lions Place Cornelius Ingram On Practice Squad Injured Reserve
The Detroit Lions made a change to their practice squad today:
#Lions place TE Cornelius Ingram on Practice Squad/IR and sign TE Nathan Overbay from Eastern Washington to the Practice Squad.
Ingram was just signed to the practice squad last week. He was with the Eagles previously and has had a history of injuries. Specifically, he has dealt with ACL issues. It's not clear if he is headed to IR with something related to that or if it's a different injury.
Overbay is a tight end in his second year in the league. He spent last season on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers practice squad and was signed to the active roster in late December. Before joining the Bucs, he was on the Miami Dolphins practice squad. He originally signed with the Denver Broncos as an undrafted free agent before ending up in Florida.

Alright BucFan
what’s your take on Overbay?
That goddamn Okra and beans got you Oprah in jeans. Seems to me a little lean cuisine, wouldn't hurt much- Agh don't touch! -Obie Trice
Surprised Joe Jon Finley never got signed
I really liked him in the preseason, he just looked raw in his blocking but as a receiving TE, it seemed like he had decent hands and Scheffler-like speed.
Watching #49 was a blast but now it's time for some #53
