Inactives Announced For Lions-Chiefs Game

Here is the list of inactives for today's game between the Detroit Lions and Kansas City Chiefs:

Detroit Lions

QB Drew Stanton

WR Maurice Stovall

OT Jason Fox

OG Jacques McClendon

DT Nick Fairley

LB Doug Hogue

CB Alphonso Smith

Kansas City Chiefs

QB Ricky Stanzi

WR Jonathan Baldwin

WR Keary Colbert

OT Steve Maneri

DE Brandon Bair

DT Jerrell Powe

S Reshard Langford

The only difference from last week's inactives and this week's inactives is that Stovall is out. Running back Keiland Williams is taking his spot on the active list, meaning he could make his Lions debut this afternoon against the Chiefs.

The other main thing worth noting is that wide receiver Calvin Johnson and safety Louis Delmas are absent from the list of inactives. The two players were questionable due to injuries they suffered last week, and it appears they are both set to play in the Lions' home opener.

I don't think he's ready to contribute

where he’d be an upgrade to any of the STers out there right now…but he’s got potential to develop for sure.

Dying to see Houge-y on the field

I thought he would be able to contribute on ST. I guess not yet – he’s strong as hell and a powerful hitter.

Yesssssssss

Hopefully we’ll see Keiland! And hopefully that also means we’re holding on to a lead!
