Lions Favored In Minnesota For First Time In 30 Years

Stay connected for news and updates

The Detroit Lions can make some history with a win on Sunday at the Minnesota Vikings. A win would give the Lions their first 3-0 start since 1980, and a victory would also give them their first win in Minnesota since 1997. It won't be easy considering how little success they have had in road games against the Vikings in the past, but the oddsmakers have the Lions favored to win on Sunday by three and a half to four points.

With the Lions being named the favorites for Sunday's game, one streak has already been ended. For the first time since 1981, the Lions are road favorites against the Vikings.

@ullfootball Exactly 30 years ago (Week 3, 1981) was the last time the Lions were favored over the Vikings in Minnesota!

In case you're wondering, the Lions ended up losing this game by a score of 26-24. Hopefully the oddsmakers will be right in favoring the Lions this time around.
