So, on a little lighter side of things, let's discuss your favorite gametime snack. And I PROMISE not to mention anything about Stafford...ahem...read comments on Week 3: Vikings
Post by me...LOL.
1) Chips: While chips aren't the most satisfying for fulfilling what your stomach needs, they sure are tasty. The wide variety of chips out there is astonishing now. Dorito's alone offer numerous flavors from the original Nacho Cheese, classic Cool Ranch, Taco, to the delightfully sinful Late Night Cheeseburger (which are very tasty by the way.) Now, if you want to stay clean and not have those nacho fingers we all hate when eating Dorito's, you can pop some Pringles. Now, be careful with these...as when you pop, you just can't stop. My personal favorite would have to be Barbeque Krunchers. These kettle chips are just pure amazing with every bite.
2)Pizza: Why, when it comes to pizza, how can you not think pepperoni, sausage, onion, mushroom, ham...and may I dare say it...pineapple. While I enjoy a classic Pepperoni pizza, there are many out there that are daring and may put hot peppers or even some fishy substance on their pizzas. Recently I had a Barbecue Chicken pizza and may I say....mmmmmmmmmmmm...Square, Deep dish, round, thin crust...so many possibilities.
3)Party Sub: While some of us spend time with the families and go to church on Sunday morning, we have to be quick when we get back for football, so what do we do...order the infamous party sub. Possibilities with this classic are endless. Salami, peppers, turkey, ham, lettuce, mayo, oregano...etc...etc. Does your cover your whole kitchen table with delightful goodness, or is it just enough for 3? Ahhhhh....poor 3 person sub...you need more friends.
4) And last, but not least...GRILLING!!! While I love to grill, this is not my personal favorite for football Sunday. I want to come home from church, have my snacks ready, beverages at my side, ready to watch the game. But some of you are diehard grilling fans and may have already preheated that sucker and had marinaded chicken in the fridge ready to go on....or that juicy steak.
What is your personal favorite?
