Inactives Announced For Lions-Vikings Game

Here is the list of inactives for today's game between the Detroit Lions and Minnesota Vikings:

Detroit Lions

QB Drew Stanton

WR Rashied Davis

OT Jason Fox

OG Jacques McClendon

DT Nick Fairley

LB Doug Hogue

CB Alphonso Smith

Minnesota Vikings

WR Greg Camarillo

OT DeMarcus Love

C Brandon Fusco

DE D'Aundre Reed

LB Xavier Adibi

CB Brandon Burton

S Mistral Raymond

The only change from last week to this week is that Davis is inactive instead of Maurice Stovall. This means Stovall's hand has healed enough for him to play, and most of his time will be spent on special teams.

Another important note is that Brandon Pettigrew and DeAndre Levy are not on the list of inactives. Pettigrew is dealing with a shoulder issue and Levy was limited with a knee injury in practice this week. Both players are active for today's game, and both players will start, according to the Lions' official site.

I think Phonz is being held out at this point just due to lack of practice

and conditioning

agree

It takes more than a warm body to play on this team anymore…talent or not.

Profiler.........for real??

Now I would obviously rather see AP out than Harvin but Harvin is a playmaker in space who has burnt us in years past.

I have posted this stat a few times this past week

Harvin is not a big part of the Vikes offense. He only had 33(out of 69) snaps last week. Harvin is just a slot guy. Wright will be all over him when he is in.

definately agree i looked at this quickly so i might of wrote it down wrong but

he has had 22 catches for 225 yds and 2TDs… ten yards a catch is decent but he averages 5.5 catches for 56.25 yds and .5TDs a game. nothing to call home about!

new OC and a new offense in Minny this season

He has not been a major factor in the passing game. In fact, Harvin was only in on 7 running plays last week.

Thanks Gyo

His migraine history is limiting his playing time – unfortunate 14 out of 16 weeks

He has the abillity but

He’s not a # WR and his KR abillity is far from Devin Hester. He can make plays but he is far from scary

Keiland is getting some play time

I wonder if his role will increase this week. Harrison ain’t getting it done

Do you try to spell that fucked up on purpose?

I think it depends on the situation

if there is a few 3 and short or goalline plays thats where he will earn his paycheck this week. I can see 5 to 10 carries.

Really, I don't think he does

Remember he only came in the KC game after it was already a blowout.

last week was the first week he was activated

and I think the Vikes D will put up a better fight than KC’s did. I said it will be situational to the reason Williams will be in the game. Short yardage and goaline

Well I agree that his workload will only be short yardage

But I don’t see him getting near 10 carries. 4-5 max.

He's also still learning the schemes and protections...

so the trust might be a little higher this week vs last…

That's what I was thinking ....

He had some pretty nice runs for the skins. Don’t know why, but I’m kinda pulling for the guy

Hope so

I do like Harrison though. Unfortanetly, Harrison may be worse than Best at taking negative runs…but if there’s a hole, he’s hitting it… Against a defense like Minny’s, I think it’d make sense to play more of Keiland.

funny thing

is I think Keiland has our biggest run from scrimmage by a RB so far…lol

from the interview w/ Schwartz to Stafford’s Mic Up’d. I am lovin the respect they are getting.
