The tides are turning

The NFL I feel is officialy seeing a change in power. It might be coming from the most unlikley sources. The teams that have been underdogs for the last decade or more are now becoming legit threats. Buffalo Bills are 3-0 and have seemed to find that Fitzpatrick was the right guy all along. They are not only winning games they are winning from behind and refuse to die. Fred Jackson is one of if not the most underrated player in the NFL right now. He is destroying defenses. The Bills aren't only an offensive team though. The defense had 4 interceptions on Tom Brady who only had 4 all year last season. Things are clicking in Buffalo and the fans are taking notice but so will the rest of the league. The are confident and talented they are a true problem for opposing teams.

The Oakland Raiders the inventer of the 40 time are actually winning games. Jason Campbell is playing good ball but Darren Mcfadden just destroyed the Jets stop the run 1st defense. Jersey was owned sunday by the Raiders. The have a very physical line on both sides of the ball. Jacoby Ford is a play maker in the passing game. Heyward Bey has not been anything that they expected it would seem. The run game is there and with a good defense this team has a future.

Did someone say Browns? Yeah the Cleveland Browns like I projected have seemed to solve the QB problem with long horn QB Colt McCoy. Greg Little, Massiqaui, and Cribbs are all solid wideouts with the abillity to make plays. The offense runs throught the inhuman monster that is Peyton Hillis. Smash the ball is they way the win games. They have one of the best young offensive lines in the NFL. The defense is coming along with players like Joe Haden developing. With mastermind Holmgrem running everything behind the scenes you can bet they will continue to find talent to add to this team.

Last and far from least is the 3-0 Detroit Lions. Defense is the identity they are trying to build with one of the most feared lines in the last decade. With Suh as the crown jewel, Avril, Corey Williams, Sammie Lee, KVB, Lojack and Willie Young all have an intreget place on this line. Adding the rookie Nick Fairley this line can destroy any plans you have for offense. Young secondary that shows some talent with Delmas the guided the missle. Houston and Wright with Alphonso Smith the ballhawk getting ready to return. They have built a fast back half of the defense with players like Levy, Tulloch, and Durant at linebacker. The offense is high octane with and young ELITE Qb at the helm. Jahvid Best, Calvin Johnson, Titus Young, Nate Burleson, Tony Scheffler, Pettigrew all able to make plays when called upon. A good special teams unit will help them in the tight games. The only problem that sticks out like a fat girl at a Swim suit edition shoot is the run game. Questions about the O line now MUST be asked by the front office and coaching staff. Almost no run game exsist on this team. To top it off the Vikings showed that pass blocking isn't as great as we once thought. Once the front line begins to see upgrades in play and talent look for this team to be a threat every year.
