NFL Roster Cuts: Detroit Lions Release Aaron Francisco

According to Dave Birkett, the Lions have informed Aaron Francisco of his release.

With the release of Francisco, it appears the Lions are set at safety, with four remaining on the roster. Louis Delmas, Amari Spievey, Erik Coleman and John Wendling all look to be safe.

By my count, the Lions have now cut 15 players today.  In order to get to the roster down to 53, they will need to remove 12 more players from the active roster.
