- A Facebook page allegedly belonging to Buccaneers running back LeGarrette Blount talked some trash by saying that he will be "running through" Ndamukong Suh on Sunday. The Buccaneers have denied the page is Blount's, though. (Via Detroit Free Press)
- Suh made it pretty clear what his plans are for the 2011 season: "I’m not here to meet friends. I’m here to cause you problems and meet your quarterback. I’ll shake his hand when I’m hitting him."
- Suh was interviewed by Dan Patrick and Jim Rome this week.
- The Lions media room is now officially named after Tom Kowalski.
- It turns out that former Raiders cornerback Walter McFadden merely visited with the Lions. Originally it was reported he was going to sign with the team's practice squad.
- Aqib Talib "cannot wait to go up against" Calvin Johnson. Johnson also can't wait to go up against the Buccaneers, especially if they use single coverage to defend him.
- Jim Schwartz was interviewed by Sirius NFL Radio yesterday.
- Schwartz joked about his strategy with coin flips today: "I mean, if we get a good wind in overtime, we might just kick off." It's still hurts, Jim. Still hurts.
- Buccaneers coach Raheem Morris is a fan of Schwartz. In fact, Morris said this earlier in the week: "I steal from coach as much as I can because he is a creative play-caller."
- Nate Burleson played the role of interviewer and chatted with Calvin Johnson earlier this week.
- On Thursday, Packers receiver Randall Cobb became the first player born in the 1990s to play in a regular season NFL game. Considering I was born in 1990, I officially feel old.
