Suh is going to bury Blount every chance he gets...

The Bucs CB s are dead in the water if they try to single coverage on any of a WR especially CJ… Staff will pick there asses apart.

He might Smittyj however, after watching the O-line this preseason I’m not overly impressed. Generally they run block pretty good, its there pass protection that has most Buccaneer fans worried the most. Especially considering that monster you have in the middle who goes by the name SUH.

The 90's

I remember them… I was in high school. You want to feel old? Try this-

I learned computers on a TRS-80 (Trash 80).
My first car was a 1979 Plymouth Champ (and it was only 10 years old)
My phone calls were made on party lines
I remember when FOX began & could only get the signal on our 7 foot satellite dish in the back yard.
I remember government cheese & butter & peanut butter & those god awful crackers that went with all of them for snacks
I have used a mimeograph machine to make copies for the teacher
I remember when the hot shoes were this new company called Nike

Yup. I’m old.

I wanna punch Fran Charles in the face

Everytime the Lions are brought up he says “Stafford’s gotta stay healthy”. No SHIT, so many of these talking heads on tv and very few of them have anything intelligent to add. Where is Rich Eisen, I can’t stand this m’fer Fran Charles, or Heath Evans for that matter.

by fiendishdr.wu on Sep 9, 2011 6:35 PM EDT reply actions

Oh, come on, everyone says the same thing.

And there’s a pretty good reason for it. Only it’s not relevant to the game coming up.

by drgarnett on Sep 9, 2011 6:37 PM EDT up reply actions

You just said it, not relevant.

Matt Ryan needs to stay healthy, he’s missed a game or 2. Every qb needs to stay healthy. At some point it’s like STFU, you know what I mean?

by fiendishdr.wu on Sep 9, 2011 6:41 PM EDT up reply actions

To be fair, he's not wrong.

Stafford hasn’t been able to stay healthy, and it has hurt the Lions. Matt Ryan has stayed healthy for the most part and has helped his team win games. As have many other QBs. Until Stafford proves he can do that, you’ll continue to hear it and for good reason.

Suh…Glad to have you on my team. Been waiting 40 years for the Lions to have a good team and go deep into the play-offs. (or beyond) When training in the gym, I pretend I’m an army tank…lol! (Buc Fan here)

Lions fans, You guys should be happy as hell to have a town and owner who is willing to pick up the extra tickets if in fact they even have to so that your games are not blacked out like we have in Tampa. I’m sure that you all would feel exactly the same as we do knowing that you have such a young and talented team that you can’t even watch. I look forward to listening to the game on the radiio nonetheless because I am a true fan. I have heard so many people talking smack (from both sides) that I thought I would come here to say that this game should be awesome to watch and seeing two of the young and up and coming teams of today and certainly the future play each other. These two teams are going to be seeing each other in the playoffs maybe this year but certainly in the future. Also, Josh Freeman and Matthew Stafford both blow Rex Ryan’s boy off the field. They both are much better quarterbacks. Go Bucs!!!!!!!!!

I think both fan bases can look forward to several years of having a good team to root for. Fortunately for our owner, he probably won’t have to buy many tickets this season. The fans are selling the games out without any of that happening so far.

We know it won't be great

but we’re not sure really. Best looked great when he didn’t have turf toes on both his feet (two games max last year). Maurice Morris had over 100 yards last time we played you guys, he’s listed as probable. I’m kind of excited to see what our newst RB will add to the table: Keiland Williams. He’s 230 LBS and does a good job breaking tackles – that’s the kind of back we’ve been missing with LeShoure going down.

But the biggest thing is, our line often allows penetration on run plays and they get blown up…dirg!
