Week 1 NFL Injury Report: Detroit Lions At Tampa Bay Buccaneers
The Week 1 injury report is out for Sunday's matchup between the Detroit Lions and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Five players are on the injury report for the Lions, three of whom are out. Only three players are on the injury report for the Buccaneers, and only one is out.
Here is the full injury report:
Detroit Lions
RB Maurice Morris (Hand) - Probable
OT Jason Fox (Foot) - Out
DT Nick Fairley (Foot) - Out
DT Andre Fluellen (Hand) - Probable
CB Alphonso Smith (Foot) - Out
Tampa Bay Buccaneers
OG/C Ted Larsen (Ankle) - Probable
LB Dekoda Watson (Hamstring) - Probable
CB Myron Lewis (Ankle) - Out
There are no real surprises for the Lions. Although Smith did return to practice, I don't think anybody was expecting him to be ready this week. The same goes for Fox and Fairley, who have yet to practice as they also recover from foot injuries. Morris and Fluellen are both recovering from hand injuries, and they made enough progress to play on Sunday.

I don't see any reason to play Flu
unless SLH is not being effective enough and Suh and/or C Will are getting gassed. I wouldn’t want to risk that injury IMO.
While MoMo is a more valuable player to risk injury, I think we may need him but should test out Harrison first to see how he does…

at least the Bucs can't complain
about not having this guy or that guy when they lose again…

Our starting LG is garbage lol
Their backup, “Zuttah” is way better.

If their starting LG doesn't play
And they lose, I would expect them to cop out to that, considering it would be a huge mismatch in favor of CWill.
We were complaining about a blown interference call
anhd we recieved a letter from the NFL saying “sorry”.
We are going to beat you all today.

oh they will complain
if they loss they will say well the ref miss a call there and oh this guy got injured on this play and did not return until that play. the true respectable buc fans would sat good win. win or loss let hope we can see them in the playoffs.
Yeah you're right
Only Bucs fans would do that. Not like we don’t do it too. Oh, and every other sports fan base ever.
forgot to say
when i mean like miss a call not like calvin should of been a catch or for the buc winslow not being a passing interference but something like if the ref said there was no pass interference in the 2nd quarter and they have to punt the ball now something like that.
in their defense
We would do the same.

I wish we could play the bucs at home
for this reason: we beat them last year that their house, with our third string qb and still won. I want to show them how much better we are than them, and we play a ton better at home.
So much better....
If you all are for real, than you should except the Road Game Challege. No excuses just football. I am tired of hearing about the “blown call” against you all last year.
Yeah, you drafted the best DT in that class, but why didn’t you guys stick to drafting WR’s?
As great as Megatron is/will be, you all are still 1 out 6 on drafting WR’s.
Hope there is a good clean game, no injuries, no too sloppy, and may the best team win.

???
Do you think reminding us that our former president’s success rate in drafting WR’s is supposed to get under our skin or something? The shit really just comes across as pathetic.
But here’s a question I have for you regarding something that’s happening now as opposed to years ago: how come your weak-ass fan base can’t sell out your stadium? Don’t you feel like kind of an ass knowing that even though you’re supposedly a promising up and coming team, you’re the only team on opening weekend to not be able to sell out your stadium? Are you over here talking shit because you’re mad that the game is blacked out in Tampa Bay? Is that the real reason for your hostility?
