Hey everyone; new guy here.

Finally jumping aboard and making an account. I've actually been reading POD for quite a while, as it is my main Lions news source (highly prefer it over MLive and its endless legion of trolls/self-loathing Lions fans), so I'm already pretty familiar with the site and some of the faces around here. For whatever reason, though, I just never felt like posting anything until now.

...anyway, just a little bit about myself; I'm 19, been a Lions fan about as long as I can remember (started watching 'em back in the late 90's with my dad, so I do remember Barry, and started getting into more as I got older). I've pretty much seen it all; Joey Blue-Skies, 0-16, basically the entire "he who shall not be named" era was when I really became a fan of this team, and as bad as those times were, I never once thought about rooting for somebody else. I live in Nevada (this is basically Raiders or 49ers country around here, depending on your preference I guess), but I was born in Michigan, and I'm still very much a Detroit kid at heart. Watching the Lions this past season was such a huge treat; probably my absolute favorite personal moment was that comeback win against Oakland, as I proudly wore my Stafford jersey around town all week, making every Raider fan I passed jealous with envy. Even if the season did end on a sour note, it was still a lot of fun, and I can't wait to see what this team has in store for us next season.

So yeah, just wanted to introduce myself and what all. Looking forward to discussing Lions football with you all in the coming weeks.
