I picked Konz, because I think he is an overall good pick,
but I do think Kirkpatrick has the most boom or bust potential and would definitely be happy with him as the pick. I honestly wouldn’t be upset with any of those options in the 1st.
I think it would be easier using this:
Sooooo many things can happen. Mocking before the combine and free agency is utterly pointless.

Potentially pointless, but nonetheless FUN...

I chose Dre but would be happy with any one of these guys
We are at the point where we no longer need to fill holes but can just an impact player to come in
just pass me the damn ball

Don't really like Hightower for the Lions
He’s belongs inside on the 3-4, but I agree that the Lions should have many good options. Also, I think Mike Adams from Ohio State should be a possibility after his performance at the Senior Bowl
I like Konz
Could also see Mike adams or possibly one of the Stanford tackles falling to us which I would LOVE. I also like Ben Jones but mostly cause I want to nick name him Cooter…as in Davenport LOL
ROAR Offically Restored ! 12/24/11
THE PHONZ ~ I LOVE THAT GUY

Why would you list Hightower,
but not Burfict? Burfict is much more talented, and I’ve seen him around when the Lions pick most of the time, and many more times than Kirkpatrick.
Tengo el sangre del tigre.
I have read several different reports on Burfict
having a soft body, and does not hit the weight room hard. He is at 250lb now, curious to see what he comes in at the combine.

beyond what they said
does he really have the football IQ, or regular IQ, to be QB of the defense? Tully is worth the price, or move Levy back if needed.

I doubt he will be there but

Jenoris Jenkins might be a guy the lions look at...1st or 2nd round possibly?
he is like Asante Samuel and the lions tried trading for him…Here is a scout video from 2010 when he was going against AJ Green and Julio Jones.

It seems like Dre is really good at playing the run and short passes but i haven’t seen him do much as far as coverage and ball skills.
Jenkins is a 1st round talent
I do believe he is one of about 8 players that the Lions will draft at #23. I hope his problems are behind him. He did stay clean at North ’Bama.

Based on players available...
1. Dre Kirkpatrick
2. Dont’a Hightower
3. Peter Konz
4. Zach Brown
5. Whitney Mercilus
Is BPA, by my reckoning. Dre also lines up with need, and I’d be really happy with picking him at 23rd, so that’s who I voted for.

I voted to Stockpile Picks
Seems This draft is so all over the place you may get similar talent in the later rounds
re mock for lions
1rd mike adams ot ohio state bpa left ot
2rd doug martin rb boise state bpa at rb a need because will best play next year or not?.
3rd george iloke ss/fs boisestate bpa at ss/fs
4rd cam johnson de virgina
5rd mychal kendricks ilb calforina bpa ilb
7rd josh norman cb coastal carolina bpa cb
the reason idonot draft acb in the 1rst or 2rd of the draft is ithink the lions will pickup afew cb in fa this year .
I would not be upset at all if your mock came to fruition
I’ll take Mike Adams, even though I have my heart set on Konz. I’m high on Ben Jones too, but I’m scared he’ll just be Raiola 2.0
It's turkey, Lions and Macy's. Any other combination is just ludicrous.
