No deep analysis here just something I saw that I thought was interesting. The one hunch I would have about this is that it's due to Cam Newton and Tim Tebow, or other mobile QBs. QBs are running more and when they do they generally have better YPC than running backs because of broken plays, extra blocker whatever. I have no evidence to back this up, it just a gut feeling for the cause of the higher average.
