Lions At Saints: Thursday Injury Report
The Detroit Lions continue to look as though they will be pretty healthy on Saturday night against the New Orleans Saints. On Wednesday, only Calvin Johnson missed practice, and he returned on Thursday. Chris Harris was out, but he was the only one. Here's the full rundown:
Did Not Practice
S Chris Harris (Back)
Limited In Practice
RB Kevin Smith (Ankle/Knee), WR Calvin Johnson (Achilles), DT Nick Fairley (Foot), CB Aaron Berry (Shoulder), CB Chris Houston (Hand/Knee), CB Alphonso Smith (Foot), S Louis Delmas (Knee)
Fully Practiced
DE Cliff Avril (Back), DE Willie Young (Ankle), DT Corey Williams (Hip)
The only changes from Wednesday were Harris going from limited to out and Johnson going from out to limited. Even if Harris isn't able to go on Saturday, the Lions should have all of their starters back for the first time in a while, so they are in good shape right now injury-wise.
The Saints' injury report didn't change from Wednesday to Thursday. As a reminder, here it is:
Did Not Practice
WR Lance Moore (Hamstring), TE John Gilmore (Toe), LB Jonathan Casillas (Knee)
Limited In Practice
LB Jonathan Vilma (Knee)
Fully Practiced
WR Robert Meachem (Knee), S Jonathan Amaya (Shoulder), S Malcolm Jenkins (Neck)

I'd still like to have Harris back
Not only do we need all hands on deck for this game, but I think the secondary’s going to need every body it can get.

I'm glad
That Antonio Berry is practicing again. We need him back badly.
President of the Eric Wright fan club, but I love me some Aaron Berry.
Obligatory statement about being a huge Lions fan.

…to add… I think Antonio Jackson will be big late in the game.

I may be crazy, but I think we're going to be surprised with big plays from special teams
Antonio Hanson will do his regular thing. I just think Antonio Logan is going to come up big on a punt/kick coverage play.
It's turkey, Lions and Macy's. Any other combination is just ludicrous.
