Sick of Valenti and Foster because they don't think we stand a chance?
don’t recall them ever saying that, they’re just being realistic. Too many things have to go well for us to win, not impossible but not likely. We haven’t beaten a team that ended with a winning record this year and the only playoff team we beat was the mighty Tim Tebow. I do believe the Lions have a decent shot at winning I’m just not going to watch expecting us to win.
With that being said, I hope Fairley and Suh get to Brees a few times and cause some turnovers. We’re going to need to limit the penalties, especially the ones on 3rd down and we may need to get lucky and pick off Brees a few times. I don’t think we’ll have a problem putting up points on offense, so IMO it will be up to our defense to close it out for us.
GO LIONS

Im sick of Valenti because he's a tool
I think his overly negative sentiment towards everything is contrived. This is just one of many examples. Then he gets so upset because people that call in are biased toward detroit sports? Thats what fans do. Pus Foster seems to be slowly showing a similiar attitude.

I understand why a lot of people don't like Valenti, I'm not one of them but I get why people do
I think you need at least 1 person on the radio to be more realistic towards the teams they follow. I’m not trying to say you’re wrong for not liking them, I was just trying to point out that they weren’t really saying we didn’t stand a chance against the Saints.
Other than that, I love the POD podcast and I think you guys do a great job.

Thx!
I appreciate that. I do agree too that a more objective/non homer type fan is good. It just seems he goes overboard to where I question if he is being honest or not or hes just being negative because thats his role. He is very good at what he does though, and is very knowledgable about sports.

Im sick of people... everyone not giving us a chance
I understand about being realistic but really all these network people and reporters and everybody things the the lions are a crappy team. The saints are awesome, you cant deny that at least on there offense but basically its like we dont deserve to be here how many other reporters and network guys just hammer into how bad we are constanty. Im sorry im just sick of it

I think the whole state of michigan would be ready to go in Ace
This could be one of the biggest games in Lions history, we have made it to the playoffs before but i dont think we have ever had a team but once that was as good as this one.

Saints fan here
I have to say, as jacked-up as your fan base is, I’m glad they won’t be in the Superdome. Both teams fans seem very optimistic, should be a great game. Wouldn’t be surprised to see the Lions hosting a playoff game next year. Of course, THIS is hopefully our year!

We are both optimistic and i give the saints credit
They probably had the best total offensive perfomance in league history, not just with passing but running as well. We have a huge chip on our shoulders and if there is any team to hang it to the saints its either the Lions or the Packers and should be a great game.
