Dominic Raiola isn't the only player who had some words for the anonymous rival general manager who trashed the Detroit Lions in a recent article on ProFootballWeekly.com. Ndamukong Suh became the latest player to respond to the comments when he said this on Wednesday (via the Free Press):
Asked whether it would be nice if the GM attached his name to his remarks, Suh said, "True men do that. But I don’t know who he is, so I can’t tell you if he’s one."
Suh actually was a bit more subdued than you might expect considering there was a separate paragraph in the PFW article dedicated to the unnamed GM's criticism of him. Suh was actually quite leveled in his response, as he went on to say that "people have their opinions" and he doesn't "really pay attention to it."
Suh also said that he was "average" during the first four weeks of the season and he needs to "play at a high level" and "stay consistent." As he pointed out, it's still early in the season, so there's certainly time to make that happen. Time will be running out if the Lions keep losing, though.
