Lions defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh was not ticketed in the car accident involving him, but he is now facing a completely unrelated lawsuit.
On Friday, Dearborn Police wrapped up their investigation of the Thursday morning car accident involving Suh. According to the other driver involved, Suh sideswiped a car and left the scene, making for some extremely unflattering headlines. On Friday, Dearborn Police announced that they closed the investigation and decided not to issue any tickets because "fault cannot be determined." That won't erase all of the negative PR, of course, but at least Suh wasn't ticketed.
The bad news for Suh stems from something completely unrelated to the car accident. According to the Oakland Press, Suh has been sued by someone who was leasing a house in Birmingham that belongs to Suh and his sister, Ngum Suh. According to the report, Suh and his sister demanded a $100,000 security deposit and haven't given it back despite the tenants moving out in June.
You can read the article for all of the details on Suh's latest legal issue. I'll just sum it up by saying this: Suh seems like a bad PR magnet these days.
