Lions vs. Seahawks injury report: Detroit holds walkthrough on Wednesday

Rich Schultz

The Lions only held a walkthrough on Wednesday, but they did still release an injury report.

Because the Detroit Lions are coming off of a game on Monday night, they only held a walkthrough on Wednesday afternoon. Typically, they hold a regular practice on Wednesday mornings, but with the short week, Jim Schwartz changed up the schedule.

Although the Lions only had a walkthrough, they still put out a regular injury report. It's only based on estimations of what would have happened had the Lions actually practiced, but it's better than nothing in terms of trying to gauge the injury situation. Here's the rundown:

WR Calvin Johnson (Knee) - Didn't practice
WR Titus Young (Knee) - Limited in practice
TE Brandon Pettigrew (Knee) - Limited in practice
DE Ronnell Lewis (Not injury related) - Didn't practice
DE Cliff Avril (Back) - Didn't practice
DT Corey Williams (Knee) - Limited in practice
LB DeAndre Levy (Hamstring) - Didn't practice
LB Stephen Tulloch (Knee) - Limited in practice
CB Jacob Lacey (Concussion) - Didn't practice
CB Bill Bentley (Shoulder) - Limited in practice
S Amari Spievey (Concussion) - Didn't practice
S Louis Delmas (Knee) - Limited in practice

The most concerning thing to me is that Lacey wouldn't have been able to practice because he is still recovering from a concussion. I am also concerned that Spievey is out with a concussion given the issues he had in the offseason. It's not good from a football standpoint or from a general health perspective that he has suffered another head injury.

Here's a look at the Seattle Seahawks' Wednesday injury report:

RB Marshawn Lynch (Back) - Fully practiced
WR Doug Baldwin (Ankle) - Didn't practice
OG John Moffitt (Knee) - Limited in practice
DE Jason Jones (Ankle) - Didn't practice
CB Byron Maxwell (Hamstring) - Didn't practice
